Gymnastics!

I have been meaning to take some pictures of Daegon at gymnastics and this past Monday I finally for the opportunity. He has been going for 5 months or so and I am so proud of him, he has come so far. I think that we might have something here. A future gymnast.

I talked my grandparents tonight, man do I miss them. They told me that they just got back 2 weeks ago from visiting my great aunt in Florida. I know that should go see her she is going to be 84 this year, but she is getting around really well for her age.

I pray that we all find peace in our hearts.

The Puppies are here.......

The puppies are here, there are 5 of them 3 brown and 2 black. They came in the middle of the night so when we got up this morning there was nice surprise in Darsey's cage. They are so cute and Darsey being a great mom will not let anyone pick them up. We will give her a few days before we start playing with them. Last night when I put her in her cage I think that she was trying to tell me that she was going to have them. She was howling in her cage which is unusual for her because she does not do that. It was a great surprise and I am so glad that they are here. We are blessed that they were all born without any problems.

Sisters Visiting

Great days...I love it when my baby sis and her boy toy come to visit me. We always have so much fun together. I am sitting her waiting for it to be my turn to play Mario Cart on the WII. It is such an awesome game, I love it. It is so cold outside we can't do anything but sit here and play game.

Still sick and poor dog.

Another day and Daxton is sick...Again....Throwing-up, but this time he didn't stop. That is what I have been listening to all day. It is kind of a funny story about how I ended up picking him up. Last night I couldn't sleep, so I did some laundry and finally felt tired. I went to bed and Mario was nice enough not to wake me up. When I finally got up I saw one of the kids left their lunch here, so I got dressed. Daegon and I went to the school and I took the lunch inside, told the secretary that one of my kids forgot their lunch, and she said that one of my kids were in the nurses office. Well I asked Daxton if he was sending out the come get me vibe. He said he tried to make it through the day but it wasn't going to happen.
On another note Darsey is about ready to pop, she is getting really big. Poor thing today has been so miserable and she is starting to pant a little bit. It should be any day now and then Chaos will erupt in this house.
Also this morning I went to bible study this is week 5 and I am learning so much. I will have to put in more notes later. Right now I am tired so I am going to bid fair well for now.

Happy V-Day

HAPPY Valentines Day to all you couples out there, may your day be as wonderful and blessed as mine.

Today I am at my parents house, yes on V-Day I am spending it with my parents. My hubby and kids are outside working on tearing down this building. Tonight I think my wonderful hubby and I are going out for dinner. I am not sure if he will be up to it or not because he is working hard and he will probably be tired when he is done. If we choose not to go out that is fine with me because I love spending V-Day with all of my boys anyway.

With Love,

Everyone is getting sick.

Daxton is sick today, but I think that he is faking it. He did throw up this morning due to drainage but I don't think that he is really sick. He tried to play basketball with Daegon and I told him to take his butt to bed or we would go to school. So, needless to say he is in bed right now. I know what he is going through, I have been feeling under the weather for a few days now. It seems like we are all getting a touch of this sickness, I hope that it does not turn into a full fledged sickness.

This morning I tired to go to bible study, but Daegon is not feeling well, I think that he is getting an ear infection so he is going to the doctor at 2. Speaking of bible study this week I have been studying about Women being mean to other women. Well that has brought up some issues about my hubby's family. Although we are speaking to his mom and she has become a part of our lives, we are still not talking to his sisters which I have been praying about and hoping that God will touch their hearts so they will e-mail me or call me. I think that we all want to move on and some of us can't. If you are reading this pray that they will find it in their hearts to talk to me so that we can bring our family close again.

We have had some nice weather for about 4 days now but today it is starting to rain and it is dark outside. I hope that good weather returns so that we can play outside more.

Trip to the Circus!

Yesterday Daegon and I went to the Circus, we had a great time. It was a small circus, the only animals that they had were dogs, but there were some great acts. The first one was a girl about 10 years old hula hooping, she did 55 hula hoops at one time. WOW! The way that she moved to keep all the hoops going at the same time was amazing. It takes a lot of coordination to do something like that. Next there was a boy I think that he was 14 or 15, he stood on chairs all the way up the ceiling. Then an older woman can out to climb a pole that this guy balanced on his forehead. It was nice, but her outfit needed more material. There were a few other tricks and then the grand finale. The boy that I swear is like 14 rode a motorcycle in a metal ball, it was so cool and scary all at the same time. The whole time I was thinking I could never let my kids do something like that. Then 2 boys one about 12 and the other like 17 grabbed 2 ropes and lit them on fire and started swinging them around. It was so crazy because the kids had really long hair and I was thinking that if they didn't pull it back that it would catch on fire. But needless to say they looked cool doing it. The 17 year old also had a pole of fire that he was swinging around like a martial arts expert. All and all it was a great show.

I tired to take good pictures but all I had was my phone so here is just a peek at what was going on.

Pregnant Dog....Again!

Darsey my husbands dog of 5 years is pregnant again. She was at my dads house and low and behold the weekend we went to get here she got pregnant. It was around the 19th of December, so I think the puppies will be here in 2-3 weeks. She is so fat and tired all the time. I think she is really uncomfortable because she wants to sleep in my bed which is not happening. She is just like a pregnant human grouchy, whinny, hungry, uncomfortable, and thirsty. Poor thing, I will put up pictures of her soon.

Bible study #3

I was at bible study this morning which is going great. Our Statement last week was "It's tough being a woman in a world where beauty is a treatment". Which means that we are always primping ourselves instead of letting our true beauty shine through. We get treatment for this and treatment for that. I am so guilty of that. I don't know how much money I spend in beauty but I bet it is in the thousands every year.
This week our statement is "It's though being a woman in a mean world". Which is so true. We as women are always comparing ourselves to others and picking away at some one just because society has made them out to be ugly. Who is really to judge who is ugly and who is beautiful? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Do I hear an Amen? Yes we should stop all this meanness and concentrate on the messages that God is delivering to us. By doing that we can be truly beautiful.
My prayers.

Book Club

Tonight I hosted my first book club. This would be the second one that I have been too. I had the best time. We read the book John 3:16 and if you haven't read it yet you are missing out. We got into deep discussions about life and how we should live for God and listen to what he is telling us to do. Oh it was just fabulous.

Tonight's meeting brings up a question that I have wondered before but never really put it into perspective for myself. Are we supposed to leave everything up to God or are we supposed to pray for guidance and let him show us the way? Well from what I have learned, we are not only supposed to say "it is in your hands now" but we also have to act on what he is telling us to do. Example: A guy is stranded on his house from the Katrina hurricane. A boat comes along with 2 guys in it. They tell him to "get in" and he says "no God will take care of me" so the guys leave. Another boat comes along with some passengers and they plead with him to get in. He says "no God will take care of me". A helicopter appears over his house and the rescue team tells him to get in or he is going to die. He says "no God will take care of me". The guy drowns and when he gets to heaven he asks God "why didn't you take care of me?" God says "I sent you 2 boats and a helicopter. What more did you need?"
The moral of the story is God will provide an answer or help, but if you just sit there and turn down every hand that is held out to you or ignore the signs, then there is nothing more that he can do.

I sometimes feel like I am the boat or the helicopter. I try to help and I never get anywhere. I get told that it is in God's hands. Although that is true you must look for the signs that God leaves for you and do what He is telling you to do. God just doesn't leave it up to chance he has a plan for all of us and I think that the plan he has for me is to raise my three boys. I think this because everytime I get a job I have to quit because there is some problem at home with the kids like grades, homework, etc. I feel that my place is here with them. That is the number one reason that photography is perfect for me. It is flexable so that I can be home when I am needed and gone when I am not.

Well that is my thought on all of this please feel free to tell me what you think.
